As of March 2009, HouseWorks of Greater Washington expanded its service area to include the District of Columbia.  Now providing complete home care services in Maryland and the District, HouseWorks looks forward to entering Northern Virginia in the months ahead.

Representatives of 11 Eastern Mass organizations modeled after Boston's Beacon Hill Village gathered on April 29 to launch a local network. Among the groups represented were Wellesley at Home, Newton at Home, JFS Worcester/Neighborhood Connections, Carlton Willard at Home, Cambridge at Home, and the Andovers Village at Home.
