HouseWorks' mission goes beyond meeting the needs of our customers. As a company, we're also committed to improving the quality of life for all seniors, family caregivers, and home care paraprofessionals by working with non-profit organizations dedicated to supporting their well-being.
Home Care Paraprofessionals
HouseWorks provides charitable contributions to organizations that serve home care paraprofessionals and their families including Boston Medical Center, Center for Women and Enterprise, Cradles to Crayons, Crittendon Women’s Union, and Second Step.
Seniors
HouseWorks regularly donates time and resources to other organizations serving low-income seniors and their families.
Charitable Contributions
HouseWorks supports the work of organizations dedicated to improving the lives of frail seniors including the Alzheimer’s Association of Eastern Massachusetts, the Committee to End Elder Homelessness, Jewish Family & Children's Service, and local Aging Services Access Points (ASAPs).
In-Kind Donations and Volunteer Support Whenever cleaning out a home for a customer relocating to smaller quarters, HouseWorks delivers unneeded appliances and furniture directly to seniors and families referred to us by Boston-area non-profit organizations. HouseWorks staff members also deliver hot meals to homebound seniors and pitch in to improve conditions in subsidized senior housing as part of our volunteer commitment to the Elder Care Services Providers of Waltham.
Family Caregivers
Over the past several years, HouseWorks has donated hundreds of staff hours to addressing the pressing needs of family caregivers.
