As HouseWorks President and COO, John Sneath
provides leadership that attracts, motivates, and retains exceptional staff throughout the organization. Through innovative management, Mr. Sneath also ensures that HouseWorks meets its growth goals while continuing to provide the most reliable and responsive home care services available. His commitment to consumer-driven health care and his insistence on listening to the customers are reflected in every aspect of the company’s daily operations.
Before joining HouseWorks, Mr. Sneath was founder and CEO of Deerfield Senior Day Centers, the leading private-pay senior day care company in America. During his tenure, Deerfield developed a reputation for outstanding customer service, superior staff, beautiful facilities, and program excellence. Deerfield was sold to Birmingham-based Active Service Corporation in 2001.
Prior to launching Deerfield, Mr. Sneath was president of the adult day care division of Almost Family, a Kentucky-based company that also provides home care services. Under his leadership, division revenues quadrupled following a rapid financial turnaround. Mr. Sneath is currently on the board of the Community Family Adult Day Health and Alzheimer’s Day Health Centers of Greater Boston, and he formerly worked as a research analyst for a Wall Street investment firm. A native of Philadelphia, Mr. Sneath earned his bachelor’s degree at Harvard University and received his MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth.
